1. Authorize Council’s Clerk to advertise for two appointments to Ward Two Gravity Drainage District No. 1.
2. Appoint Julia Battle to the St. Landry Parish Community Library District.
3. Request Legal Counsel Chad Pitre file a “Petition for Declaratory Judgement” seeking validity of dissolution of First Hospital Service District of St. Landry and St. Martin Parish and the allocation of those assets by the Parish Council.
4. Request Parish President Bill Fontenot provide a report on professional fees for the services of Attorney David Wolf.
5. Discuss the calling of an election for the renewal of millage in Road District No. 1 Ward 3, Road District No.12 Ward 2, and Road District No. 2 Ward 1.

X. ORDINANCES TO BE INTRODUCED:
• ORDINANCE NO. 2017-004
AN ORDINANCE PURSUANT TO L.R.S. 48:701 TO PERMANENTLY CLOSE AND ABANDON A PORTION OF WHITE CHAPEL ROAD AND WHITE CHAPEL BRIDGE #800276 AND RELINQUISH ANY AND ALL CLAIMS BY THE ST LANDRY PARISH GOVERNMENT OF THE LISTED PORTIONS OF RIGHTS OF WAY AND BRIDGE AS BEING PUBLIC RIGHTS OF WAY AND FURTHER THAT SAID ORDINANCE BE RECORDED IN THE OFFICE OF CLERK OF COURT IN ST. LANDRY PARISH.
WHEREAS, Pursuant to Louisiana Revised Statute 48:701, the St. Landry Parish Council has determined that the portion of roadway and bridge mentioned below is no longer needed for public use, and
WHEREAS, as per Notice of Intention, duly published, it is the intention of the St. Landry Parish Council to permanently close, abandon and quit claim a portion of white Chapel Road and White Chapel Bridge crossing over Bayou Beauf ( Bridge Number 800276) located in Section 37 T-2S R-3E, that section of road commencing at a point Fifty feet (50 Feet) East of White Chapel Bridge extending across the bridge to a point approximately Fifty feet (50 Feet) west of the west side of the bridge measuring a total of 209.5 feet from point of beginning east of the bridge to a point ending west of the bridge.
WHEREAS, No public comments or protests were received or recorded at a Public Hearing held on March 15, 2017, now therefore,
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE ST. LANDRY PARISH GOVERNMENT, that: Pursuant to L.R.S. 48:701 the St. Landry Parish Council does hereby permanently close and abandon and quit claim, thus relinquishing any and all claims by St. Landry Parish Government of the following:
A portion of white Chapel Road and White Chapel Bridge crossing over Bayou Beauf (Bridge Number 800276) located in Section 37 T-2S R-3E, that section of road commencing at a point Fifty feet (50 Feet) East of White Chapel Bridge extending across the bridge to a point approximately Fifty feet (50 Feet) west of the west side of the bridge measuring a total of 209.5 feet from point of beginning east of the bridge to a point ending west of the bridge.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT FURTHER ORDAINED, that said Ordinance No.004 of 2017 be recorded in the office of the Clerk of Court.
